Financial Support Specialist

Pertemps Burton Commercial is seeking a part-time Financial Support Specialist to provide essential support to the finance team for a minimum of 6 weeks.
The main duties include providing financial data entry and bookkeeping services, accurately entering financial transactions into the accounting system, maintaining and updating accounting records and files, verifying accuracy of invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents, processing invoices and purchase orders.
This role requires strong numerical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred, with at least 1-2 years of experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Verify accuracy of invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Process invoices and purchase orders.
Working hours are flexible to suit, but the role is based on 20-25 hours per week. The hourly rate is £13.50.
