Support Mentor for Young Adults with Autism

Are you passionate about supporting young adults with autism and learning disabilities? We are currently recruiting for full-time or part-time staff to work on established home and community-based programmes across North West London.

You must be able to drive an automatic car with a clean UK driver's license. Part-time availability is for one weekday plus Saturday and Sunday.

We accept experienced graduates, professionals from other disciplines interested in supporting teenagers and young adults in their home and local community, and candidates who have previously worked in ABA or PBS settings.

We are a 7 day a week service - successful candidates should be available to work across both weekdays and weekends.

Our team provides fully accredited training and qualifications offered for free after passing probation, including Registered Behaviour Technician training, BCBA and UK-BA clinical supervision, NVQ Level 3/5/7 courses.

The estimated salary for this position is £22,295-£25,480 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description
  • To assist in the implementation of person centred programmes utilising Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support best practice.
  • To support service users by teaching functional skills, developing communication systems, enhancing social skills under a framework that provides choice and promotes empowerment.

Please note that we require a clean driver's license and experience working with individuals with a diagnosis of learning disability and/or autism.
