About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RMN) to join our team as a Unit Nurse Manager at Barchester Healthcare Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of high-quality nursing and mental health care to our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of residents and implement person-centred care plans that make a real difference in their day-to-day lives
  • Plan and manage rotas, recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure we have the right people with the right skills to deliver exceptional care
  • Build strong relationships with local regulators and social services to ensure we meet the highest standards of care and quality

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a natural leader with experience in providing care for older people and those with dementia. You should have up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. As a clinical mentor, you will support newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
