Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse Specialist to join our team at The Christie NHS FT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with research teams to develop and implement clinical trial protocols, ensuring high-quality care for patients.
  • Provide education and training to non-research staff on protocol-driven treatment and clinical trial procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for clinical research.
  • Participate in monitoring and audit activities to ensure the integrity of clinical trials.
  • Maintain professional development through appraisal and personal development planning, staying up-to-date with current advances in cancer treatments and research.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a strong background in clinical research and experience in coordinating clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with research teams and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
