About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our Breast Research team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality clinical trials and research studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Research Coordination: Work autonomously to coordinate clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and protocols.
- Clinical Service and Professional Responsibilities: Provide expert care to patients participating in clinical trials, communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Development and Maintenance of a High-Quality Service: Oversee the safe administration of medicinal products, participate in monitoring and audit activities, and contribute to the development of specialist care pathways.
- Personal Education, Training, and Development: Maintain professional development, evaluate own specialist knowledge and practice, and promote the role of the clinical research nurse within the healthcare system.
- Staff Management and Development: Support the Senior Clinical Research Nurse in the induction and supervision of junior staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A background in oncology and experience in clinical research are desirable, but not essential. You will be required to work flexibly and be able to communicate complex information to patients and healthcare professionals.
