We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist/Research Nurse to join our team at the NHS. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and research.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients with mental health needs, working closely with our multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to manage your own caseload, provide guidance to nursing colleagues, and contribute to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health and psychological needs, and plan, implement, and evaluate care delivery.
  • Provide advanced clinical skills in psychological and mental health assessment, diagnosis, and interactions to enhance the patient experience.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Use advanced communication skills in a variety of settings.
  • Monitor health, safety, and security of self and others and promote best practice in the clinical area.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a degree in Nursing or a health-related study.
  • NMC Registration.
  • Experience in delivering psychological therapy and working in an oncology setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to analyze data and provide written reports.
