Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist/Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist/Research Nurse to join our team at the NHS. Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients, providing comprehensive assessments, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. They will also contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines within the Trust, and participate in research and audit activities to improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients, providing comprehensive assessments and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines within the Trust.
  • Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient care.
  • Provide education and support to staff, patients, and carers/relatives.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure patient needs are met.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a degree in nursing or a health-related field.
  • Post-registration experience in acute care for adult psychiatric nursing, including undertaking risk assessments.
  • Experience in liaison psychiatry or a relevant clinical specialty involving serious physical illness.
  • Experience of working within an oncology setting.
  • Experience of working with a complex care team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to analyze data and provide written reports.
  • Able to work autonomously.
