Product Safety Leader

We are seeking a Product Safety Leader to support the production of the safety Build Assurance Justification.
You will review and ascertain the appropriateness of the Safety Argument and Safety Evidence provided by BAE and ensure that the platform is being built to design intent.
Liaise with the Barrow Safety Assurance Manager on any concessions where the Platform build differs from design intent.
Act as the MOD technical liaison with Platform and Nuclear Propulsion build committees.
Provide the safety interface with the propulsion/reactor/ships/weapons Test Groups.
This role requires strong stakeholder management skillsets and experiences with senior board levels, programme management experience, previous experience in build assurance or maritime platforms of complex systems, good experience of technical risk management/governance procedures and a degree within a STEM subject.
The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
