Maintenance Team Leader

As a Maintenance Team Leader at Biffa Waste Services Limited, you will be responsible for driving a safety-first mentality and controlling maintenance aspects to ensure total plant reliability by reducing downtime.
This role will allow you to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and be proactive in the development of practices and systems.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring efficient and effective planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with the wider site management team, and driving solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues.
You will also assist in mechanical and electrical plant upgrades and possess a diploma or HNC/HND/C+G Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/C+G Mechanical Engineering (or industry equivalent).
The ideal candidate will be an electrically and mechanically trained, born leader with the ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive relationships at all levels.
