Building Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our Estates department at Furness General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out decoration and building finishes maintenance within acute and community NHS properties.
Main Responsibilities
Working under the Building Team Leader, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Carry out decoration and building finishes maintenance within acute and community NHS properties
- Work safely and efficiently, with patient and staff safety at the heart of their focus
- Assist other trades and undertake other tasks to maintain the building services
Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Experience in working in a commercial/industrial setting
- Experience of safe systems of work
- Ability to comply with trust policies
- Ability to travel between the trust sites as required
About Us
University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust operates from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital - as well as a number of community healthcare premises. We provide a range of general hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and consultant-led services.
