Maintenance Team Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at Biffa Waste Services Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planned and reactive maintenance of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that downtime is minimised through the maintenance team on site
- Liaise with the wider site management team to communicate issues, priorities and actions
- Assist operations in completing a weekly/monthly maintenance schedule for all planned, unplanned and emergency work orders
- Drive and lead solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues on site
- Assist in mechanical and electrical plant upgrades as assigned by Lifecycle Team Manager
Requirements:
- Electrically and mechanically trained, with time served experience working in a production environment
- Possess a diploma or HNC/HND/C+G Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/C+G Mechanical Engineering (or industry equivalent)
- Born leader with the ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive relationships at all levels
- High energy and positive attitude
- Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
