Job Title: Administrative Support Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Coordinator to join our operations team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the production team, including raising purchase orders, completing spreadsheets, and accurately inputting data into departmental databases.

This is a key role that requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the production team.
  • Raise purchase orders and complete spreadsheets.
  • Input and update data in departmental databases and systems.
  • Act as a liaison between the production departments and other departments.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers both over the phone and by email.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing/production environment.
  • A structured approach to work.
  • Good organization and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A confident telephone manner.
  • Good IT skills with practical understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to work with others and support others effectively in a team.
  • Be inquisitive.
  • Be educated to GCSE level 1 in both Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Be flexible in relation to overtime.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
