Role Overview

The Director of UK Public Affairs will play a critical role in shaping KBR's public affairs strategy in the UK. This includes identifying key policy issues and events that impact our business and developing strategies to address them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the VP Public Private Investments, you will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement public affairs strategies.
  • You will build relationships with key stakeholders in the UK government and Parliament to influence policy decisions that benefit our business.
  • You will develop and maintain a contact database to support our objectives in the Central Government market.
  • You will organize meetings with MPs, Ministers, SpAds, and senior civil servants to ensure our leadership is fully briefed and can effectively engage with policymakers.
  • You will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to engage with relevant government contracts and tenders.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience in a political, public policy, or Central Government environment.
  • Knowledge of the workings of UK Government and Parliaments.
  • An understanding of how Central Government operates and its ongoing priorities.
  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills.

Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
