European Sales Director

We are seeking a seasoned sales director to lead our sustainable technology solutions efforts in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with major Chemical, Petrochemical, LNG, and Refinery companies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in the Upstream and Downstream Hydrocarbon Processing Industries or Sustainable Technology Industries (Refining, Oil and Gas). They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence people by building trust and credibility.
This role requires 25-50% travel to meet regularly with customers and stakeholders. If you are a motivated and strategic thinker with a passion for sustainable technology, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy Execution: Create and implement annual and quarterly business sales plans and associated sales budgets for the designated region.
- Global Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with International energy operators.
- Market Research: Conduct financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning to identify new business opportunities.
- Sales Operations Management: Manage regional sales operations, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and proposal development.
- Strategic Planning: Support the development of yearly regional strategic business development plans, including competitor analysis and customer analytics.
- Proposal Development: Lead bid and proposal activity, prioritization, and metrics.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Refining, Petrochemical/Chemical, Energy Transition, and Process services industry and customer base in Europe.
- Sales Leadership: Proven sales leadership experience with a strong ability to influence people.
Work Environment:
This position will be based in Western Europe, with expected travel to account for 25% of the working period.
