Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to lead our public affairs efforts in the UK. As the Director of UK Public Affairs, you will be responsible for identifying key policy issues and events that impact our business and developing strategies to address them.

About the Role

  • You will report into the VP Public Private Investments and work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement public affairs strategies.
  • You will build relationships with key stakeholders in the UK government and Parliament to influence policy decisions that benefit our business.
  • You will develop and maintain a contact database to support our objectives in the Central Government market.
  • You will organize meetings with MPs, Ministers, SpAds, and senior civil servants to ensure our leadership is fully briefed and can effectively engage with policymakers.
  • You will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to engage with relevant government contracts and tenders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience in a political, public policy, or Central Government environment.
  • Knowledge of the workings of UK Government and Parliaments.
  • An understanding of how Central Government operates and its ongoing priorities.
  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum
