This role is responsible for setting the strategy and building a high-performing team to strengthen relationships with UK&I retailers and deliver business goals.

The individual will be a key advocate of McCormick in the UK&I market, heavily external-focused, and responsible for bringing the voice of the customer alive in the business.

The role is a key member of the UK&I Consumer Leadership Team, working cross-functionally to set the direction for the business and deliver short- and long-term goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develops a strategic business plan to include sales, GM, areas of opportunities, and profit objectives.
  • Removes barriers for external sales force to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Directs project and resources to gain maximum headspace penetration working with McCormick management and client executives.
  • Directs the strategic sales effort to win and maintain business.
  • Develops and manages direct reports and mentoring of broader talent.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong FMCG sales experience working with UK retailers.
  • Experience developing people and leading high-performing teams.
  • Self-starter who can inspire and set the direction, develop high-performing teams, and be a great team player.
  • Experience of managing P&L's, with a track record for delivering profitable growth and market share gains.
  • Communication, strategic thinking, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
