Digital Marketing Director

About the Role:

Mccormick & Company is seeking a visionary Digital Marketing Director to lead our global digital marketing strategy, optimize customer engagement through innovative campaigns, and leverage data analytics to drive business growth. As a strategic leader, this person will work closely with global and cross-functional teams to implement a cohesive digital marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives, enhances brand visibility, and fosters customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute our global digital marketing strategy and tech roadmap for EMEA, including the launch of new commerce-enabled websites, digital shelf optimization, and new tech stack implementation.
  • Work with global and regional resources to define, create, and implement automated email and SMS journeys.
  • Adapt and define DTC strategy for top three markets.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams for email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and mobile marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand building.
  • Lead the digital marketing initiatives and collaborate with IT, sales, and other departments to create integrated campaigns that deliver a consistent and engaging brand message across all digital channels.
  • Work with media teams to allocate marketing budgets and resources efficiently to maximize impact and achieve marketing and sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in digital marketing and ecommerce with a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies in a dynamic business environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and best practices, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience building digital marketing teams in a matrixed organization while fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented work culture.
  • Ability to deliver results, while building a team, being able to be hands-on-keyboard, leveraging external agencies and internal resources.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with different cultures and building strong external partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, measure marketing effectiveness, and deliver on strategic goals.
