About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Assistant / Administrator. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
- Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a trade counter or plumbers' merchant environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
