About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Assistant / Administrator. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers with product selection and inquiries.
  2. Process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.
  3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  4. Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
  5. Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a trade counter or plumbers' merchant environment is preferred.
  2. Strong customer service and communication skills.
  3. Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous.
  4. Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.
  5. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  6. A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
