Parts Procurement Manager

We are seeking a full-time person responsible for purchasing equipment and tools and managing stores at our Ipswich branch. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in purchasing or inventory administration, strong administrative skills, and willingness to perform manual tasks.
Main Responsibilities:- Sourcing and ordering parts and materials, PPE, and tools.
- Ensuring timely delivery of items to correct locations or receiving, packing, and allocating them to jobs if delivered to the branch.
This role involves office work on the computer for administration, including sourcing and ordering items, invoicing, warranty processing, and record updates. The remainder of time will be spent in stores, maintaining stock control, ensuring cleanliness, and allocating parts to jobs.
You will also be responsible for refrigerant supply and management, branch fleet administration, van inspections, and conducting Health and Safety checks.
Benefits:- A competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.

- Experience in similar roles in electrical, plumbing wholesaler, builders merchant, or similar supplier-based industries.
- Some working experience in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and database skills) with ability to learn new software systems.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Comfortable with manual handling.
- A current, valid UK driving licence for occasional driving and deliveries.
