Procurement Role
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our team at Crane Building Services & Utilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating contracts with vendors, monitoring supplier performance, and leading periodic business reviews.
About Our Company
Our company was founded in 1855 and is part of the Fluid Handling Division of Crane Co. We design, manufacture, package, and market engineered flow control solutions for the HVAC and Utility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts with vendors based on total costs, financial risks, quality standards, and delivery capabilities.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve chronic supplier problems.
- Lead periodic business reviews with key suppliers to review quality, delivery, cost, and service performance.
- Establish and lead teams to identify and action improvement and savings opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of world markets and emerging material-related issues in the industry.
- Leverage supplier capabilities in product design, cost reduction, lead time reduction, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a global supply chain related role. Strong negotiation and contract management skills are essential for this role.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
