Job Title: Director of Policy

London & Partners is a social enterprise that combines purpose with commercial rigour to create economic growth that is resilient, sustainable, and inclusive. We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Policy to join our team.

About the Role

The Director of Policy will play a key role in enabling London & Partners' impact for London by securing and growing non-commercial income. This will involve setting a clear impact and insights strategy, developing strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers, and ensuring effective reporting and evaluation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing London & Partners' reputation, working closely with other Directors across the business. They will also establish a new team within the Strategy Directorate, which will have a key role in defining the strategic direction of our work.

The Director will lead the teams delivering Strategy & Impact, which include insight and thought leadership, evaluation, reporting, and policy analysis. They will report to the Managing Director – Strategy and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team of London & Partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a clear impact and insights strategy to secure and grow non-commercial income
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers
  • Ensure effective reporting and evaluation of our work
  • Establish a new team within the Strategy Directorate to define the strategic direction of our work
  • Lead the teams delivering Strategy & Impact, including insight and thought leadership, evaluation, reporting, and policy analysis
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of experience in policy development and implementation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to think strategically.
