Lead Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Nouvita Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to our psychiatric services.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and will be able to demonstrate their expertise in psychiatric care and leadership. You will be a visible and influential figure within our organization, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Clinical Strategies: Work with our clinical team to develop and implement clinical strategies that improve patient outcomes and enhance our services.
- Provide Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and direction to our psychiatric services, ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work collaboratively with our stakeholders, including commissioners, community teams, and other key partners, to ensure that our services meet the needs of our patients and the wider community.
- Participate in Quality Enhancement Projects: Participate in quality enhancement and service evaluation projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our services.
- Lead the CPD Programme: Lead our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, ensuring that our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Approved Clinician Status: Hold Approved Clinician status and be a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in good CPD standing.
- Current Registration with GMC: Be currently registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Experience in In-Patient Setting: Have at least five years' experience in an in-patient setting, with experience of working in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and Acute Services.
