About the Role

Nouvita Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our psychiatric services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior medical staff
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the recruitment and appointment of relevant staff
  • Participate in quality enhancement and service evaluation projects
  • Represent the company externally at local, regional, and national level
  • Oversee the performance of Consultant Psychiatrists and ensure systems are in place to support appraisal and revalidation

Requirements

  • Approved Clinician
  • In good standing with the RCPsych
  • Current registration with GMC
  • At least five years experience in in-patient setting
  • Ability to take independent Clinical decisions and demonstrate clinical leadership
  • Knowledge of evidence based practice
  • Effective communication skills verbal and written
  • Up to date with current practices in rehabilitation Psychiatry
  • Able to organise oneself and prioritise clinical need
  • Evidence of participation in audit
  • Able to demonstrate time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyse information and use effectively and efficiently
