About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to support the growth of our business by coordinating conferences, events, and other activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage conferences, events, and other activities, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including academics, administrators, and external clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement event concepts, themes, and logistics.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Assist in promoting events through various channels, including email marketing, social media, and print materials.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in event coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with event management software and tools.
Working Arrangements

This is a one-year fixed-term contract position. You will be based at Lady Margaret Hall, with occasional travel required for events and meetings.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £34,000 per annum, plus benefits, including access to a pension scheme, generous annual leave, and staff discounts on university facilities and services.
