Conference and Events Officer

A highly skilled Conference and Events Officer is required to oversee all aspects of our client's internal and external events.

This dynamic role offers a fast-paced and engaging environment where you will connect with a wide array of people, whilst also attracting new corporate clients and managing events from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the events process from securing new business to delivery
  • Support the Conference and Domestic Manager in achieving the sales and events budget
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing material
  • Produce contracts
  • Maintain the conference booking system
  • Attend meetings

About the Company

This is an opportunity to gain excellent events experience within a reputable education environment in central Oxford.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Experience within events, or within a higher education environment would be a bonus. You will be proficient in the use of MS Office and will be a great team-worker, as well as having a confident and friendly approach to working. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work calmly under pressure whilst juggling multiple conflicting priorities and a high workload.
