Conference and Events Officer
A key role has become available for a skilled Conference and Events Officer to join our client's team at Allen Associates.
This dynamic position offers a fast-paced and engaging environment where you will connect with a wide array of people, whilst also attracting new corporate clients and managing events from start to finish.
As a Conference and Events Officer, you will play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of our internal and external events, including:
- Managing the events process from securing new business to delivery
- Supporting the Conference and Domestic Manager in achieving the sales and events budget
- Assisting with the preparation and distribution of marketing material
- Producing contracts
- Maintaining the conference booking system
- Attending meetings

Conference and Events Officer Experience Essentials
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Experience within events, or within a higher education environment would be a bonus. You will be proficient in the use of MS Office and will be a great team-worker, as well as having a confident and friendly approach to working. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work calmly under pressure whilst juggling multiple conflicting priorities and a high workload.
