Strategic National Account Specialist

We're looking for a highly skilled National / Key Account Manager to join our team, responsible for driving business growth through strategic account partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to take their career to the next level, working with one of the world's leading suppliers to major brands and retailers.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers across multiple departments, identifying and addressing specific needs, and ensuring long-term success. You will work closely with internal teams, including product development, to deliver compelling customer-specific propositions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of account growth, a deep understanding of the retail industry, and excellent influencing and negotiation skills. You will be comfortable working independently, managing your time effectively, and communicating complex ideas to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across multiple departments
• Identify and address specific client needs and opportunities
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver customer-specific propositions
• Analyze performance metrics and use category data to inform business decisions
Requirements
• Proven experience in account management and growth
• Deep understanding of the retail industry and its challenges
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary up to £80,000, plus benefits including annual bonus, company car allowance, contributory pension, life assurance, and 25 days holiday.
