Strategic Account Development Manager

As a Senior Account Manager in our Public Sector Sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients.
You will be the primary point of contact for your customers and prospects, establishing and building client relationships to maximise value for Telefónica Tech and its clients.
Key Responsibilities- Achieving significant growth within large/strategic accounts, including expanding into new areas and leveraging existing relationships;
- Managing deal-sizes in the region of £500K - £10M across project services, consulting services, managed services, and IT outsourcing;
- Networking, prospecting, and lead/pipeline generation to identify new business opportunities;
- Bid management, deal-shaping, proposal writing, and financial modelling to secure deals;
- Engaging at senior levels in client organisations to build and maintain complex stakeholder relationships;
- Developing and managing key accounts to their full potential, ensuring awareness of competitive activities and preventing attrition;
- Previous experience in New Business, Account Management, or Territory Sales within the IT industry;
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets;
- Experience in strategic industry Public Sector verticals, particularly NHS and Healthcare;
- Demonstrable experience of managing major accounts at head office level;
