Role Overview

NFP People seeks a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the position of School Impact Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in training, supporting, and developing volunteers to make a meaningful impact in the community.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity for 3 days per week, with flexible working hours (8:00 - 4:30, Monday to Friday). The successful candidate must be available to work Fridays and be willing to adapt to term-time working arrangements (excluding the second half of August).

Responsibilities

  • Train and support volunteers to develop their skills and abilities
  • Maintain effective administration and data management systems
  • Foster deep partnerships between schools and the charity, promoting mutual understanding and growth
  • Work closely with Volunteer Mentors on professional development plans to enhance their employability
  • Utilize strong supervision skills to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
