Job Description

The Community Links organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Community Connector. The successful candidate will work alongside the NHS East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) under the Mental Health Transformation Programme, focusing on recovery-oriented and person-centered approaches to mental health care.

The Community Connector will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, including ELFT, community organizations, and service users, to improve welfare and outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of local services, provisions, and issues affecting people with mental health needs, as well as experience working with partnerships and stakeholders.

The Community Connector will be based at Community Links in London and will work within the Primary Care Network in Newham. Key qualifications for the role include a university degree, local knowledge, experience working with stakeholders, and a commitment to implementing the mission and values of Community Links.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with ELFT, community organizations, and service users
  • Provide support and guidance to service users, focusing on strengths and assets
  • Work collaboratively with the Primary Care Network in Newham
  • Contribute to the development of the Mental Health Transformation Programme

What We Offer:

  • Full-time position with 37 hours per week
  • Salary: £31,558 per annum
  • Reports to: Primary Care Network Lead (ELFT) / Assistant Director (Community Links)
