Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Substance Misuse Practitioner to join our team in High Wycombe. As a Complex Needs Specialist, you will work with adults in an addictions, housing, or social care setting, providing person-centered interventions to reduce risk and increase resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage individuals in various interventions, using a person-centered approach.
  • Work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings.
  • Join our caring multi-disciplinary teams to provide quality psychosocial interventions.

Requirements

  • Qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).
  • Experience of working in the substance misuse field or a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
  • Flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills.
