Substance Misuse Specialist

Aquarius is seeking a skilled Substance Misuse Specialist to join our team in High Wycombe. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work with individuals to address their holistic support needs, including substance use and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work, or a related field. Experience of working in the substance misuse field, liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies, and engaging effectively with clients is essential.
This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week. We are committed to increasing our diversity and welcome applications from those with lived experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage individuals in interventions to reduce risk and increase resilience
- Work with clients to address holistic support needs across all aspects of substance use and wellbeing
- Liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals
- Engage effectively with clients in a variety of settings
