We are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Specialist to join our team in Cranbrook, B.C. as a relief part-time (0.90 FTE) opportunity. The successful candidate will work in our high-functioning and well-integrated MHSU Intensive Case Management team, providing assessment, treatment, and service coordination to adults experiencing severe substance use concerns and concurrent disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide low-barrier outreach services to adults with complex challenges accessing existing health or social services
  • Function as a member of the larger Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) healthcare team and a specific MHSU multi-disciplinary team
  • Assess, treat, and provide service coordination to clients with serious functional impairment in various domains
  • Utilize specialized treatment modalities and therapies for individuals, groups, and families
