Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Specialist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Intensive Case Management team, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, treatment, and service coordination to individuals experiencing severe substance use concerns and concurrent disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment services to clients with complex substance use and mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams
  • Coordinate services and resources to support clients in achieving their treatment goals
  • Work collaboratively with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in substance use and mental health treatment
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, nursing)
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health concerns
  • Strong assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
