Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Specialist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Intensive Case Management team, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, treatment, and service coordination to individuals experiencing severe substance use concerns and concurrent disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, treatment, and service coordination to clients with complex substance use and mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct outreach services to vulnerable populations, including those with serious functional impairment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and responsive treatment and clinical supports
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on substance use and mental health issues
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health concerns
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
