Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Governance Paralegal / Administrator to provide critical support to our Governance team during a period of heightened activity. This temporary role will play a crucial part in maintaining our governance standards and ensuring the smooth running of governance processes.
About the Role:
As a Governance Paralegal / Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Organizing and Administering Governance Meetings: Coordinating agendas, document packs, and minutes for Executive Committee, Board, subcommittee, and shareholder meetings.
- Tracking and Completing Actions: Ensuring actions from meetings are tracked and completed efficiently.
- Providing Additional Support: Assisting with banking committees, managing key governance tasks, and maintaining process integrity.
- Collaborating with Senior Stakeholders: Working closely with senior stakeholders to guarantee governance processes are delivered effectively and on time.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Company Secretary / Paralegal / Administrator, ideally with exposure to governance.
- Excellent Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage high-pressure tasks within tight deadlines.
- Minute Taking and Action Reports: Strong minute-taking and action report skills.
- Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain process integrity.
- Corporate Governance Knowledge: Familiarity with corporate governance processes would be highly advantageous.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Confident communication and collaboration skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
