Financial Institutions Relationship Manager

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our team in the Financial Institutions department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with financial institutions in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit credit applications and renewals for financial institution clients, ensuring timely approval by the head office and local credit committee.
- Develop and manage a loan asset portfolio in line with the bank's risk appetite, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Market to potential clients, maintain relationships with existing clients, and promote the products and services offered by the bank.
- Initiate risk ratings, conduct thorough due diligence, and prepare credit submissions according to the bank's standards.
- Create pitch books and presentations as required to showcase the bank's offerings.
- Prepare and send onboarding packages to new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with the bank's policies and risk framework.
- Minimise loan risks through diligent, timely reviews and proactive monitoring of economic and market influences, industry trends, and data.
- Identify, own, and manage conduct risk and controls daily, implementing the bank's conduct risk framework processes.
We are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager with at least 5 years of UK experience, specifically managing and developing relationships with financial institutions (banks & NBFIs).
