We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Luton, working within our inpatient mental health service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Band 5 OT to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients, promoting recovery-focused and client-centred care. They will be responsible for assessing and intervening with adults experiencing mental health problems, utilizing assessment and evaluation tools drawn from the Model of Human Occupation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist occupational therapy services to promote recovery-focused and client-centred care
  • Assessing and intervening with adults experiencing mental health problems
  • Working collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team to inform and plan positive discharge for clients

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • State Registration
  • Post-qualifying experience in Mental Health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
