About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Family/Systemic Psychotherapist to join our team at CAMHS ELFT services in the county. The successful candidate will provide high-quality interventions within a relational approach to Mental Health, working with children, young people, and their families who have complex mental health needs.

The post holder will be part of a comprehensive stepped care model of delivery and an integral part of a thriving specialist multi-disciplinary service offer. You will contribute to the Clinician of the Day (COD) rota as required to meet the needs of young people presenting in crisis, supporting the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist systemic assessment, formulation, and intervention with clients across various care settings.
  • Work with people of all ages, including children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Teach, train, and supervise others in systemic psychotherapy principles and practices.
  • Apply systemic psychotherapy in different cultural contexts, communicating complex information effectively to clients and professionals.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Masters/Diploma level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy, accredited with UKCP.
  • Post-qualification training in additional specialized therapeutic areas.
  • At least 2 years of assessed experience as a qualified systemic family psychotherapist or substantial previous relevant clinical experience.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
