Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our Mental Health service for adults with eating disorders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in leading high-performing teams and a proven track record in managing clinical and administrative teams. They will be responsible for ensuring excellent care is delivered and maintained, and that quality and financial targets are met.

As the Lead Registered Manager, you will have overall leadership and management of the service, developing close working relationships with the experienced and established teams, and other external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operational performance, while continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating the development of quality healthcare services that respond to the changing needs of purchasers and patients, and reflect market trends and evidence-based practice.
  • Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met.
  • Leading the senior management team on site, developing local strategy of the service, ensuring adherence to the service's objectives, quality improvement and business plans.
  • Promoting and enhancing the hospital's reputation for specialist care and service.
  • Fulfilling the role of Registered Manager as per CQC expectations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Nursing Qualification - Mental Health Nursing.
  • An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector.
  • A clinical background in and understanding of eating disorders.
  • An emphasis on performance and delivery to support successful service delivery and development, budget control, business development and revenue generation.
