Clinical Scientist in Nuclear Medicine Physics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our team within the Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering at UCLH. The successful candidate will work closely with the Deputy Head of Clinical Scientific Computing and other members of staff to support clinical services in Neurophysiology, Women's Health Radiotherapy, Proton Beam Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, and Sterile Services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, a physical science, or engineering, and will be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge of software engineering best practices, statistics, and mathematics applied to acquiring reliable insight from data. They will also have experience of managing computer operating systems, particularly Unix and Windows, and will be proficient in at least one programming language used for research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects involving clinical, commercial, and technical stakeholders, and will be expected to bring their technical and scientific skills to evaluate, specify, implement, and manage clinical systems. They will also be expected to participate in committees/working groups involving scientific and technical information and to identify service development opportunities.
