Care Home Manager

Job Summary:
Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Manager to lead our team at Haven Lodge Care Home in Clacton-on-Sea. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that we deliver exceptional care to our residents and maintain a high level of satisfaction with our service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and management to all staff employed in the home, promoting a caring environment that is delivered according to the latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Ensure the effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure that a high level of satisfaction with the service is achieved and maintained, and that we comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Relationships and Reputation: Maintain excellent relationships with relatives, residents, purchasers, and external agencies to build and maintain a positive reputation in the local community.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Home Manager in a Residential and Dementia care setting.
- Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation.
- Ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas.
