Job Summary:

Care UK is seeking a passionate and experienced Home Manager to lead our team at Haven Lodge Care Home in Clacton-on-Sea. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring exceptional care and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and management to all staff employed in the home, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Care Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, in accordance with the latest guidelines, best practice, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial and commercial aspects of the home, ensuring compliance with company policy and maintaining a high level of financial performance.
  • Service Excellence: Foster a culture of excellence, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with the service and maintaining excellent relationships with relatives, residents, and external agencies.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Home Manager in a Residential and Dementia care setting.
  • Proven ability to control and manage a budget and accounts.
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas.
