About the Role:

Hallmark Luxury Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dementia Care Manager to lead our dementia community and drive our relationship-centred dementia care strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a committed and loyal caring team to deliver exceptional residential and nursing care to our residents.
  • Develop and implement a dementia care strategy that meets the stringent standards of Hallmark Luxury Care Homes.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and other internal Heads of Department to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community groups involved in dementia care, promoting Hallmark Luxury Care Homes as a leader in dementia care.
  • Support family members and friends of people living with dementia to become partners in their loved one's care.
  • Ensure the dementia community meets all CQC requirements, Hallmark's quality and compliance framework, and recruitment and management of the care team.

Requirements:

  • Passionate soul for dementia care with a focus on developing people rather than tasks.
  • Expert knowledge of delivering exceptional evidence-based care in a residential care setting.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and create a home-from-home environment for our residents.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to lead a team of carers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
