Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Teacher to join our specialist team at a NAS accredited independent Special day school. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students aged 6-19 with profound and complex needs, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and associated difficulties.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Work closely with the therapeutic team to ensure a holistic approach to education and care.

Requirements:

  • PgCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience of teaching students with sensory lead curriculums.
  • Ability to lead and direct other adults supporting within the class.
