Job Overview: Supporting Deaf Children with Autism in Education

Remedy Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with a Deaf pupil with SEMH in a Secondary SEN school setting. This role requires a proactive and caring individual who can provide one-to-one support using Makaton skills. If you have experience working with children with Autism and SEMH, we would love to hear from you

The successful candidate will possess foundational BSL skills and experience of working with Deaf pupils. A positive attitude, creativity, and ability to work effectively within a support plan/ behaviour plan are highly desirable qualities for this role. We anticipate a salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per year, based on location and experience.
