**Job Title:** Deaf Education Support Specialist
**Location:** Coventry, UK
We are seeking a highly skilled and caring individual to join our team as a Deaf Education Support Specialist in a secondary school setting. As a BSL Level 3 trained Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with hearing impairment and other moderate learning disabilities, including autism.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students. You will be part of a small group of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional support to children with complex needs.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with hearing impairment and other challenges
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality educational experiences
- Communicate mainly via British Sign Language (BSL)
**Requirements:
- BSL Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with children with hearing impairment and other special needs
- Warm and caring approach to supporting vulnerable students
**Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
