Manufacturing Quality Manager
">CV Library is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Manager to oversee the quality assurance and control processes within our precision engineering operations.
This role requires someone with a strong background in quality management, including experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead the quality team in conducting audits, inspections, and tests to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, from raw materials to final product inspections, including the management of non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to ensure quality is built into the manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and analyse quality performance data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution of quality-related issues.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet high-quality standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the quality team, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
