Precision Engineering Lead

We are looking for a skilled Precision Engineering Lead to join our team at CV Library.

This role requires someone with a solid understanding of precision engineering processes and techniques, including CNC machining and toolmaking.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in root cause analysis, problem-solving techniques, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  2. Lead the quality team in conducting audits, inspections, and tests to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  3. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, from raw materials to final product inspections, including the management of non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to ensure quality is built into the manufacturing processes.
  5. Monitor and analyse quality performance data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Manage customer complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution of quality-related issues.
  7. Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet high-quality standards.
  8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the quality team, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
  9. Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
