CV Library is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee the quality assurance and control processes within our precision engineering operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in quality management to lead a team of quality professionals and ensure that all products meet stringent customer and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

  • Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  2. Lead the quality team in conducting audits, inspections, and tests to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  3. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, from raw materials to final product inspections, including the management of non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to ensure quality is built into the manufacturing processes.
  5. Monitor and analyse quality performance data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Manage customer complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution of quality-related issues.
  7. Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet high-quality standards.
  8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the quality team, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
  9. Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
